Hey!
We're Glovatrix😊
Glovatrix has developed an AI-powered device called the Fifth Sense that converts sign language gestures to speech in real-time so that everyone can understand what Deaf people have to say. The device also enables two-way communication so the Deaf people can understand what others are saying.

Our Story
In 2008, Aishwarya Karnataki was a Class 8 student at Scottish High School in Gurgaon, where the school had a dedicated section for children with disabilities. As a member of the student council, Aishwarya had the opportunity to interact with these children on a weekly basis. Among them was a six-year-old deaf boy named Atharva, with whom Aishwarya developed a special bond.
In this section, there were children with various challenges—one child was blind, another had cerebral palsy, there was a child with autism, and another with locomotive disorders. While these children faced their own struggles, they had friends with whom they could communicate. Atharva, however, was different. He struggled to connect with others because no one understood his sign language. He often found himself nodding along in conversations he couldn’t fully comprehend, leaving him to play alone. Seeing his isolation, Aishwarya took it upon herself to learn sign language so she could communicate with him.
Years later, Aishwarya’s dream of creating a bridge for people like Atharva became a reality when she met Parikshit, her co-founder. Parikshit, an expert in developing hardware and software systems, envisioned and built the entire technical stack for Glovatrix from the ground up.
entire technical stack for Glovatrix from the ground up. He has created a fully operational gesture recognition system that
combines cross-platform application development, cloud infrastructure, embedded systems, and artificial intelligence. The result is a state-of-the-art system capable of recognizing gestures, converting audio to text for seamless two-way communication, and facilitating peer-to-peer interaction between deaf individuals using sign language. This scalable system has the potential to revolutionize workplace communication, aid in learning sign language, and even contribute to the creation of new sign language gestures. Glovatrix is not just a product; it’s a lifeline for those like Atharva, offering them a voice in a world that often doesn’t hear them.
